The Ed Bham Foundation’s resurrection of World AIDS Day is indeed the biggest event centred around HIV/AIDS in the world. Tickets are now live and available at Howler and directly at till points at various retail outlets across South Africa.

The Urgency of World AIDS Day is to address and reframe the Numbers of 84,2 Million People that have been infected in the world since the start of the pandemic, of which 40,1 million have died since the start of the pandemic. The Ed Bham Foundation’s position is that there’s LIGHT and There’s HOPE. With your help and participation, we can eradicate this virus and end this pandemic by swiping right on our health.

Currently as of 2022, there are 38 million people infected worldwide by HIV/AIDS. Only 29 million are on
treatment and living normal healthy lives and the other 9 million are not on treatment and we urgently
need to start closing this gap.

There has been a remarkable rise in Paediatric HIV/AIDs around the world. 150 000 kids born with HIV each
year, of which 10 000 alone are from South Africa, which as we can see, sheds significant light on Women
and Children in our lives as appose to HIV/AIDS being an exclusive LGBTQi+ association.
